Heavy metal, light glass and a soft 2700K glow.
Luma is a table light combining a turned aluminium base with a hand-blown opal glass shade. Ø 320 × 480 mm, integrated LED at 2700K.
Challenge
Hand-blown glass varies from piece to piece, so the base had to accept small differences without gaps.
Approach
A silicone ring seats the shade on the base, and the LED module is replaceable through the bottom plate.
Result
Luma enters production with Lysne Lighting in a first series of two hundred pieces.
